Prof. Rachel Nwakwasi, The South-East Zonal Coordinator made several presentations on NIFAAS activities, such as its Objectives, Mandate and Opportunities for Collaboration during the Agri-Future In-House Programme at the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) at the end of April 2026. The programme was co-sponsored by the Zonal office of NIFAAS.

At the end of the sensitization workshop, the Zonal members present and other participants had a group photograph.

Later that day, they had on-field demonstration activities with Imo State Women Farmers on watermelon planting techniques using improved seeds provided by NIFAAS.
